Alan Hathaway, President / Owner

Our fearless leader! Alan is a devoted family man, and lucky for us BrownBoots-ers, he considers us part of that family. Alan started BrownBoots because he loves helping people, fixing problems and wanted a challenge. Still going strong over a decade later, we think he has succeeded at that challenge.

Alan is a true “techy” at heart. He is passionate about website design, SEO and has a great knack for explaining technical information to non-techies. Alan graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a Bachelors in Fine Arts and still puts that degree to work in everything from making pottery to helping designers push pixels.

Alan leads by example when it comes to his involvement in the community. Alan is the current chair for the Fond du Lac Area Association of Commerce. He sits on the board of directors for the Fond du Lac Family YMCA and the Center for Enterprise Development, as well as sitting on the advisory council for the Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac. He was also a founding board member for the Young Professionals of Fond du Lac.
